Job Description:
The Accountant supports centralized corporate accounting functions through technical accounting execution, recurring accounting processes, financial reporting, and post-acquisition integration activities. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate and reliable accounting records, preparing reconciliations, and supporting the month-end close process to ensure financial information is organized and completed timely. Responsibilities Support centralized corporate accounting functions, recurring accounting activities, and technical accounting execution across multiple locations. Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation to ensure consistency and compliance. Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring they are complete, accurate, and submitted on time. Prepare recurring journal entries, supporting schedules, and other routine accounting activities. Support month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate completion across all locations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reporting packages. Ensure reporting accuracy through organized and reliable financial data. Manage weekly expense reimbursement reporting, ensuring accurate recording, policy compliance, and resolution of discrepancies. Maintain intercompany accounting records, ensuring transactions are properly recorded, balanced, and discrepancies are resolved. Maintain fixed asset records and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Support audit preparation by maintaining schedules, documentation, and assisting with internal and external audit requests. Support post-acquisition accounting activities, including setup, reporting alignment, integration, and continuity of accounting processes. Maintain regular and consistent attendance. Qualifications Associate's degree in Accounting, or Finance; equivalent experience may be considered. 2+ years of accounting experience in a corporate, multi-entity, or shared services environment preferred. Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, ledger accounting, and month-end close support activities. Experience supporting financial reporting, audit preparation, and compliance documentation. Experience supporting post-acquisition accounting integration activities is a plus.
