We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Staff Accountant to support the financial operations of a diverse group of six companies. These entities operate across multiple industries, including gas stations, travel centers, hospitality, fuel transportation, commercial real estate, construction, and catering services. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing account reconciliations, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and demonstrates strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability. Key Responsibilities Perform daily data entry and maintain accurate financial records within IRely accounting softwareMaintain and reconcile general ledger accounts across multiple entitiesPrepare and analyze monthly balance sheet reconciliationsComplete bank reconciliations and investigate discrepanciesAssist with month-end and year-end close processesConduct internal audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policiesSupport financial reporting and provide variance analysis as neededMaintain documentation and ensure proper recordkeeping for audits and complianceCollaborate with operations teams across different business units to ensure accurate financial dataAssist with process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
