Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support ongoing accounting operations in Lebanon, Ohio. This is a Long-term Contract opportunity with a part-time schedule of three days per week, offering flexibility in workdays and hours. The position focuses on strengthening financial records, completing overdue reconciliations, and maintaining accurate reporting across a high volume of fund and investment accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities related to foundation and fund accounts.
- Review and complete account reconciliations, including resolving outstanding items from prior years.
- Oversee the close process across quarterly and annual reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
- Reconcile approximately 40 investment accounts and monitor related account activity.
- Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger for a wide range of financial transactions.
- Prepare fund-level financial reports and support the accuracy of financial statements.
- Handle accounting activity across as many as 200 accounts, ensuring proper organization and documentation.
- Maintain transactional account records and assist with ongoing administrative accounting support.
