Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, is requiredCertifications:
CPA or CMA certification is preferredAccounting Knowledge:
Strong understanding of GAAP and specialized utility accounting principles.Software Proficiency:
Experience with financial and accounting software. SAP S/4 Hana and PowerPlan would be a benefitAnalytical & Communication Skills:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to interpret data and explain financial information.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Familiarity with regulations from bodies like the SEC andFERC/NARUC
