Finance Manager Salary Range:

$95,000 - $120,000 annually , based on experience and qualifications Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant / Manufacturing Accountant to support financial operations within a manufacturing environment in Nashua, NH. This role is responsible for product costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and operational financial support. The ideal candidate is analytically strong, detail‑oriented, and comfortable partnering closely with operations, supply chain, and production teams to drive accurate costing and informed business decisions. Key Responsibilities Maintain and analyze product cost structures, including materials, labor, and overhead Perform standard cost updates and annual cost roll‑ups Analyze manufacturing variances (labor, material, overhead) and provide actionable insights Support inventory valuation, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes Prepare and review journal entries related to inventory and manufacturing transactions Support month‑end and year‑end close activities related to cost accounting Partner with operations and supply chain to improve cost visibility and efficiency Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis Support internal and external audits related to inventory and manufacturing costs Drive continuous improvement in costing processes and controls Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required) 4+ years of cost accounting or manufacturing accounting experience Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment ERP system experience strongly preferred (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, or similar) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) CPA or CMA a plus but not required Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
