SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
who brings a strong technical foundation paired with the ambition to move beyond transactional tasks and take on greater responsibility within a growing, industry-leading organization. Responsibilities Supervise transaction-level accounting across AP, AR, fixed assets, payroll, and journal entries, serving as first-line review for coding accuracy and documentation Monitor the general ledger for errors or misclassifications and initiate corrective action Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations (cash, prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, fixed assets, intercompany), resolving reconciling items and escalating material issues to the Controller Maintain the close checklist and deliver month-end schedules and variance analyses on deadline Support annual budget preparation and departmental consolidation Perform monthly budget-to-actual variance analysis and maintain budget tracking schedules, responding to manager inquiries Assist the Controller with financial statement preparation, external audit, and tax workpapers Oversee lease accounting under ASC 842, including ROU assets, liabilities, amortization schedules, and lease classification Support accounting system and process improvements Prepare regulatory filings, lender reporting, or board-level financial packages as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience Background and experience in public accounting or manufacturing Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Excel Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple requests/assignments Strong communications skills for both staff and upper management Ability to work a flexible schedule as business demands Experience with SAGE a plus Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
