Cranford, NJ Job Details 3 hours ago Qualifications Data-driven problem-solving Full Job Description Job Duties and Responsibilities Provide management with analysis of equipment, consumables, products and maintenance costs and associated profitability levels. Analyze and track overhead costs Maintain and prepare required monthly budgets working closely with Business Unit Management. Maintain and prepare required monthly Capital investment summaries Assist with any related audits and general ledger functions. Allocate internal rent and other cost allocations to regional projects. Assist with capital budget and fixed asset maintenance. Identify and recommend areas of potential cost savings. Reconciliation of any related accounts or processes. Support inventory management through conducting physical inventories and monitoring any cycle count program. Assist with month-end and year-end financial closings. Develop tracking and reporting tools. Process intercompany rebills. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory control, and job costing methodologies. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP systems, inventory management systems, and financial reporting tools. Thorough knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Ability to communicate financial information clearly to operational and management teams. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to independently analyze data and make sound recommendations. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2-5years professional experience. Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, service shop, industrial, or construction environment is a plus. Experience supporting operational managers through financial reporting, budgeting, and profitability analysis is a plus -OR- Any equivalent combination of education and experience which meets the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
