Accounting Team. Our Accounting Internship is a 9-week program from June 1st through July 31st . The internship will be based in the office (Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM) at the LG North America Innovation Campus (HQ) in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and pay an hourly rate of $25.00 . The LG Internship Program is built on the philosophy of ensuring that each intern is given the opportunity to perform robust and meaningful work while gaining real-world experience. The program will also include each intern working on an individual strategic project for the department and delivering a presentation at the program's end. The main project for the Accounting Intern is: - To support a focused accounting project, where the intern will review and update the company's Fixed Asset (FA) records, including: Major and Minor FA category classification, department assignment, Owner in charge, physical asset location, validation of assets assigned to terminated employees etc. Responsibilities Support the US Accounting Team with core accounting and financial operations Review and validate Accounts Payable vouchers to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies Organize, maintain and update financial records and supporting documentation Assist in reviewing and updating company expense policies to ensure alignment with current regulations Support month end financial close activities Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis upon request by senior management Support Internal control activities, including documentation of process narratives, control testing support and tracking of remediation actions Assist in reviewing contracts or business transactions to identify potential accounting implications and summarize key risks Qualifications Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited College/University. Rising Sophomore, Rising Junior in a Finance, Accounting, or Business Analytics major is preferred Bilingual in Korean and English is a plus Basic skills in financial and accounting data analysis and be proficient in using Excel for creating charts and infographics Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Google and Teams Curiosity and enthusiasm for customer observation, the ability to extract meaningful insights, and strong communication skills are essential qualities Strong communication skills, outgoing personality Recruiting Range $25 - $28USD Benefits Offered Full-Time Employees:
