Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Staff Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of a growing organization. This role will be responsible for preparing journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, performing bank reconciliations, assisting with month-end close, and supporting budgeting and financial reporting activities. Candidates with property management, real estate, or property accounting experience are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries, maintain general ledger accounts, and perform monthly bank and account reconciliations. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, financial reporting, and variance analysis. Support annual budgeting, monitor departmental spending, and assist with audits and other compliance-related reporting. Identify process improvements and provide general accounting support as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field required, with 1-3 years of accounting experience. Property management, real estate, or property accounting experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks or similar accounting software. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Pay:
$26.00 - $29.00 per hour
