This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys building long-term client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor. You'll oversee a diverse tax practice, mentor staff, and work directly with business owners to deliver strategic tax planning, compliance, and consulting services. Client Services Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of business and individual tax clients, serving as their primary advisor. Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for corporations, S corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals. Develop proactive tax planning strategies that help clients minimize tax liabilities and meet their financial goals. Research tax laws and regulations and provide guidance on complex tax matters. Review financial statements and client accounting records to ensure accuracy and tax compliance. Respond to IRS and state tax notices and represent clients during audits and other tax matters when necessary. Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service. Lead, coach, and mentor tax staff while reviewing work for quality and accuracy. Help improve internal processes, workflows, and efficiencies to support the firm's continued growth. Client Services Qualifications:
CPA license required or actively pursuing licensure. 6+ years of recent public accounting experience with a strong focus on taxation. Experience preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, partnership, and S corporation tax returns. Strong knowledge of tax planning, consulting, and compliance for privately held businesses and high-net-worth individuals. Experience supervising staff and managing multiple client engagements. Strong communication, organizational, and client relationship management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting/tax software; experience with UltraTax and QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) is a plus. Why Join?
