This is a newly created position driven by continued growth, offering strong exposure to both tax and regulatory matters within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Position Overview The Tax Accountant will play a key role in preparing and reviewing tax filings, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and supporting tax planning initiatives. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and file accurate corporate tax returns Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations Identify and apply eligible deductions, credits, and tax-saving strategies Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation Monitor changes in tax laws and proactively implement updates Utilize tax and accounting systems to support reporting and compliance Partner cross-functionally to support audits and financial reporting initiatives Maintain strict confidentiality in handling sensitive financial data Qualifications Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required) CPA required (or actively pursuing; CFA a plus depending on scope) 2-5+ years of relevant tax/accounting experience (public accounting experience highly valued) Master's degree or MBA is a plus Benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision.
