Job Description

Position Summary:
The Tax Accountant is responsible for preparing and reviewing tax filings, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and advising the company on tax strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Primary Responsibilities, Duties and Functions (Including but not limited to the following) : Prepare, review, and file accurate tax returns for business. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local tax regulations Identify and apply eligible deductions, credits, and tax-saving strategies Maintain and organize financial records and supporting documentation Monitor changes in tax laws and proactively apply updates to business work Utilize tax preparation and accounting software efficiently Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and financial reporting initiatives Uphold strict confidentiality and data privacy standards
Qualification Requirements:
Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements Excellent communication and client-facing skills High level of organization and attention to detail Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (required) CPA required (CFA considered a plus depending on role scope) 2-5+ years of relevant tax/accounting experience preferred Master's degree in Accounting or MBA (preferred)

From $65,000.00 per year
