Objectives:
The Staff Accountant I supports the finance and accounting team by performing a range of technical and operational accounting activities that ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with
U.S GAAP.
This role contributes to the timely completion of the monthly close process through the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, maintenance of the capital asset register, and development of account analyses and lead schedules.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform technical accounting activities in accordance with GAAP Maintain and update the capital asset register Prepare and complete balance sheet reconciliations Develop and maintain account lead schedules Assist with internal and external audit processes Provide support for tax and payroll functions Investigate account discrepancies and resolve variances Support cost accounting activities including product costing and variance analysis Assist in maintaining inventory controls and reconciling inventory balances Perform additional adhoc accounting duties as assigned

Tuition Reimbursement Salary Range:
