Position Overview:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage and support day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accuracy. Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings in accordance with company policies and GAAP. Prepare journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and bank reconciliations. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports. Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules and depreciation. Support tax preparation and audit processes, providing necessary documentation and analysis. Monitor and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure financial integrity. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing historical data and variance analysis. Ensure timely compliance with statutory filings, including GST/VAT, TDS, and other regulatory requirements (where applicable).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification is a plus. 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance. Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, NetSuite) and MS Excel. High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Pay:
Up to $70,000.00 per year
