Job Description

Vernoia Enterline & Brewer, CPAs is a Somerville NJ local accounting firm. We provide tax and accounting services to individuals and businesses. We are offering an immediate full-time permanent position. Competitive salary/Overtime paid @ time and a half Health insurance 401(k) match Paid time-off policy Tuition reimbursement
Responsibilities:
Preparation of individual, fiduciary, and business income tax returns. Preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements. Preparation of payroll and sales tax returns. Supporting clients accounting systems mainly using QuickBooks. Conducting research on federal and state issues. Direct client contact including managing expectations and meeting deadlines.
Qualifications:
3+ years of recent public accounting experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Thorough understanding of accounting and tax preparation. Possess knowledge of tax regulations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. CPA preferred, but not required.
