Full Job Description About Us:

Premier private golf and country club featuring stunning golf course, luxurious amenities, and renowned dining experiences. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our dynamic team as a Club Accountant. Job Description Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Management of receivables, payables and cash balances Monthly billing and distribution of statements to all Members Control timely deposits of all funds Reconcile bank accounts Accurately enter all approved vendor invoices Process payments to vendors Complete monthly closes and the preparation of monthly/quarterly Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements All business related licenses Verify that all insurance records for club property are maintained Pre-paid taxes Act as the Payroll and Human Resource liaison All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance and/or equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management Must have Country Club experience Clubessential or Jonas experience a must Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, GAAP, and financial reporting requirements, accrual accounting Experience with Club Management software (e.g., Jonas, Clubessential) is a plus Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data Detail-oriented and organized with a high level of integrity and professionalism Outstanding time-management and prioritization abilities Ability to handle confidential information Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written Takes pride in their work Works well individually and as a team
