Description Robert Half is partnering with a growing healthcare-related organization seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team in the Las Vegas/Henderson area. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career accountant, or Staff Accountant who enjoys working in a hands-on environment, solving problems, improving processes, and supporting month-end close activities. This position is suited for someone with strong core accounting knowledge who can manage general ledger activity, support the month-end close process, and resolve reconciliation issues across high-volume financial data. Responsibilities for the

Staff Accountant:

+ Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger

+ Perform account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations

+ Research and resolve accounting discrepancies

+ Support month-end and year-end close activities

+ Analyze financial data and prepare supporting schedules

+ Work with large data sets and reconcile information from multiple sources

+ Assist with process improvement initiatives and documentation of accounting procedures

+ Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records

+ Collaborate with accounting leadership on special projects and reporting needs This is a contract to permanent opportunity that is 100% onsite. Candidates with prior healthcare experience & Sage system knowledge are preferred, but not required. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 3+ years of general accounting experience or recent accounting graduate Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger accounting Experience performing reconciliations and supporting month-end close Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, and SUMIFS Experience with ERP systems; Sage Intacct experience is highly preferred Strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
