Staff Accountant - Commercial Real Estate

Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our finance team. You must have commercial property accounting experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing CAM reports, and ensuring accuracy in lease abstracts. This position plays a crucial role in the budgeting process for CAM and requires a strong understanding of commercial real estate accounting practices.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain accurate financial records and reportsPerform CAM reporting and budgetingConduct lease abstracting for commercial propertiesCollaborate with property managers to ensure proper accounting practices are followedAssist in month-end and year-end closing processesProvide support during audits and financial reviewsMaintain compliance with financial regulations and standardsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in commercial real estateProficiency in CAM reporting and budgetingStrong skills in lease abstractingFamiliarity with accounting software; Yardi experience is a plusExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBenefits
