Job Description
- Review and interpret daily sales activity from several operating platforms, including Oracle and Toast, to support accurate revenue reporting.
- Produce and update daily audit documentation for multiple business segments, ensuring records are complete and organized.
- Prepare journal entries and submit them into the appropriate systems to reflect daily revenue transactions correctly.
- Consolidate revenue data from outlets such as food and beverage, retail and quick-service locations, and parking operations.
- Reconcile accounts tied to third-party delivery providers, gift card liabilities, and other assigned balance sheet areas.
- Investigate reporting variances, identify root causes, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Contribute to the cleanup of outstanding accounting items by helping reduce backlog and improve turnaround times.
- Recommend and implement stronger revenue audit procedures to create more standardized and efficient workflows. Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or revenue accounting roles.
- Working knowledge of journal entries, account reconciliations, and revenue recognition practices.
- Experience performing revenue audit activities or supporting high-volume transaction environments.
- Ability to work across multiple systems and combine data from different sources accurately.
- Strong Excel skills for organizing data, performing reconciliations, and preparing reports.
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and operate independently in a fast-paced setting.
- Background in hospitality, multi-site operations, or retail environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with general ledger processes, month-end close, compliance controls, or tools such as BlackLine is a plus.
