Description Ricky Pasquet with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill a Staff Accountant role for a growing Reno based company. My client is seeking a 1-3 year accounting professional with general ledger experience, and a BS Degree in Accounting to help them transition to a public company. The position is expected to be in office, five days per week in Reno. There is great opportunity for growth as the company embarks on a new chapter! Experience preparing journal entries within an accounting environment that requires strong attention to detail.
Working knowledge of general ledger maintenance and financial record accuracy.
Familiarity with month-end close activities and deadline-driven reporting cycles.
Ability to complete account reconciliations and research variances effectively.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in daily accounting work.
Proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheet tools used for analysis and reporting.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
