Staff Accountant Supervisory Responsibilities Non-Supervisor Level of Supervision/Scope:
The supervisor makes assignments by defining objectives, priorities and deadlines, and assists the employee with unusual situations that do not have clear objectives. The employee plans and carries out successive steps and resolves problems and deviations in accordance with instructions, policies, and accepted practices. The supervisor reviews the work for adequacy and conformance with practice and policy.

JOB SUMMARY
Prepare and analyze financial information necessary for system and regulatory agency reporting requirements. Prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure asset protection and integrity of financial reporting. Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Consistently observes safety and security procedures. Reports potentially unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare monthly expense analysis. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Gather data and prepare information as requested.
  • Assist in the monthly close procedures to achieve a timely and efficient process.
  • Provide financial analysis as requested.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by authorized personnel or as may be required to meet emergencies. Complies with all quality assurance, customer focus, infection control, safety and all policies and procedures with the department and Kaleida Health.
  • Understand and follow all Kaleida Health Service Excellence Standards of Performance.
