POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Lease Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in Sage Accounting / Property Management Software to oversee the complete lifecycle of commercial leasing documentation. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will draft new lease agreements, maintain portfolio databases, manage tenant communication, and ensure high-level accuracy across all leasing records. Direct, hands-on experience using Sage software in a real estate or property management environment is strictly required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lease Creation & Execution:
Draft, review, process, and generate new commercial lease agreements, amendments, and renewals for prospective and current tenants.
Sage Database Management:
Utilize Sage to input, track, and maintain accurate property and lease data, abstracting key terms, critical dates, rent schedules, and financial obligations.
Serve as a central point of contact between property managers, accounting departments, landlords, legal counsel, and commercial tenants to resolve documentation or billing inquiries smoothly.
Document Auditing:
Audit existing lease files to ensure compliance, proper execution, and accurate institutional recordkeeping across the portfolio.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Software Requirement:
Must have hands-on proficiency with Sage software (Sage Intacct Real Estate / Sage 300 CRE or Sage Accounting for property management).
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3+ years of commercial real estate, property management, or real estate database administration experience.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Skills:
Strong understanding of commercial lease terminology (CAM, escalations, renewals, option periods), exceptional organizational abilities, and clear written and verbal communication.
