Job Description

Crystal Window & Door Systems, Ltd. is an award winning manufacturer of a full production line of quality, energy efficient vinyl and aluminum windows for residential and commercial use. We are currently looking for Staff Accountant to join our friendly and high-paced team work environment - Accounting and finance Department and is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting accounting processes including account reconciliations, budget preparation, and month-end close. This role contributes to the accuracy and integrity of internal and external financial reporting. In addition, a high level of confidentiality must be maintained at all times. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Support Senior Accountants in the preparation of consolidated internal financial statements by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information. Analyze financial data and prepare reports using spreadsheets to evaluate options and support decision-making. Prepare daily and monthly general ledger entries by maintaining records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate postings. Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable sub-ledgers. Manage the fixed asset ledger and prepare monthly depreciation and amortization schedules. Prepare journal entries, perform account analyses, and assist in monthly close procedures. Assist in the development and review of annual operating budgets. Ensure financial practices comply with GAAP and internal policies. Support annual external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries. Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Assist with processing payables and provide support to the accounts payable team
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance Minimum of 2 years' experience in Staff Accountant or Junior Accountant Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks Excellent organizational and time management abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Salary:
