Education:

Minimum•associate's degree in accounting.

Preferred:

bachelor's degree in accounting.

Experience:

Minimum•three (3) years of computerized accounting experience. Highly Preferred•previous Workday experience, accounting experience in a hospital or health system

Other Requirements:

Must have experience using a spreadsheet application to complete analytic review. Should have experience with Microsoft Office products.

Essential Job Functions:

Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Assist senior accountants with balance reconciliation, investigate and resolve reconciling items, and maintain organized, audit-ready workpaper documentation. Assist the AP function with invoice processing, vendor matching, accrual support, and resolving aged or outstanding items as needed. Research accounting issues, summarize findings clearly, escalate conclusions to senior accountants or management for review. Prepare monthly journal entry transactions as assigned.
