Melville, NY (Hybrid, in office 3x a week)Salary:

Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting:
- Research technical accounting matters and prepare accounting position papers and analyses
- Support SEC reporting, including quarterly and annual filings and required disclosures
- Interpret and implement new accounting standards while assessing business and operational impacts
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries and consolidations
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal control documentation
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external auditors on reporting, compliance, and technical accounting matters Qualifications for the Senior Accountant –
Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting:
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting and/or corporate accounting experience
- 3+ years of experience supporting SEC reporting and public company financial reporting requirements
- 3+ years of experience researching and applying complex accounting standards
- Strong knowledge of
U.S. GAAP, SEC
regulations, and internal control frameworks- Experience with financial reporting systems such as Workiva, HFM, Smart View, SAP, or similar platforms preferred
