Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and assist with timely accounts payable activities.
- Support customer billing and cash application tasks while helping maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
- Prepare and post routine journal entries to ensure financial transactions are recorded correctly.
- Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies to keep cash records accurate and up to date.
- Perform account reconciliations for balance sheet and general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
- Use Microsoft Excel to organize financial data, analyze variances, and prepare accounting schedules.
- Assist with month-end close activities by gathering information, updating records, and supporting reporting needs. Requirements
- Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
- At least 2 years of accounting experience in a business environment with a strong attention to detail.
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting entries.
- Strong background in bank reconciliations and account reconciliation processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to work efficiently with financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach to work.
