full-time We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join a collaborative Finance and Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to continue developing their skills while gaining hands-on experience across a variety of accounting functions. The Junior Accountant will support daily accounting operations, including cash and bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate has at least two years of accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare daily cash reports and reconcile bank accounts. Perform credit card reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Process invoices, payments, and employee expense reports. Identify and resolve basic billing errors and vendor inquiries. Assist with accounts receivable billing and collections, including following up on unpaid or overdue accounts. Support accounts payable and serve as backup as needed. Assist with weekly, month-end, and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, postings, and financial reports. Support general ledger activities and account reconciliations. Prepare and review financial reports for accuracy and completeness. Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including scanning and filing supporting documentation. Provide administrative and analytical support to the Accounting team. Assist with audit preparation and respond to audit-related requests. Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and procedures. Perform additional accounting-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred. Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience. Working knowledge of basic accounting principles, general ledger activities, and financial reporting. Experience with account and bank reconciliations. Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel . Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and eager to continue growing within accounting.
