Senior Accountant

Job Summary We are seeking detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support strategic financial initiatives. Your expertise will provide accurate financial reporting, streamline accounting processes, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. This position offers an opportunity to work with SAP and Quickbooks accounting software. Responsibilities Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and internal policies. Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using software SAP and Quickbooks. Support payroll management activities through Paychex Conduct detailed analysis of financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for process improvements. Skills Experience and knowledge of GAAP standards and technical accounting practices. Experience with accounting SAP program a plus Skilled in account reconciliation, journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger management. Excellent analysis skills for financial concepts such as debits & credits, accounts payable/receivable, and governmental accounting standards. Experience with month end, bank reconciliation, general ledger, profit and loss, income statements, etc.
