Job Description
Join a Growing Manufacturing Organization JAGG Electrical & Control is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with the Controller and play a key role in supporting the financial operations of a rapidly expanding manufacturing organization. The Senior Accountant will be involved in much more than day-to-day accounting. This role supports financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, inventory and cost accounting, process improvements, and strategic financial initiatives. What You'll Do Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning. Partner with the Controller on strategic financial initiatives and special projects. Perform inventory and cost accounting, including manufacturing variance analysis. Support external audits, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance. Maintain and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiencies. Collaborate with operations, purchasing, production, and management to support sound financial decision-making. Participate in ERP enhancements and continuous process improvement initiatives. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience. Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced formulas and PivotTables. Experience working with ERP systems. Manufacturing or industrial accounting experience preferred. Cost accounting and inventory accounting experience preferred. Experience supporting external audits and financial statement preparation is a plus. Why Join JAGG?
