JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant with 2-4 years of public accounting experience who is looking to expand their technical skills and grow professionally. Responsibilities Prepare federal and state tax returns for: Individuals Partnerships S Corporations C Corporations Trusts and Estates Prepare workpapers and tax projections. Perform bookkeeping and write-up services for business clients. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist with compilations, reviews, and audits. Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts. Prepare adjusting journal entries and supporting schedules. Communicate with clients to obtain information and resolve questions. Assist with tax planning and year-end accounting projects. Work closely with senior accountants and partners on a variety of engagements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 2-4 years of recent public accounting experience. Strong knowledge of individual, partnership, corporate, and fiduciary tax returns. Experience with financial statement preparation and compilations, reviews, or audits is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. CPA license or CPA-track candidate is a plus, but not required. Experience with CCH Axcess Tax, QuickBooks, CCH Engagement is a plus. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
