Job Summary Join a Growing, Team-Oriented Company Clancy Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team. We are looking for an organized and proactive professional who can support month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and general accounting functions while helping ensure the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions. What You'll Do Assist with month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and financial reporting support Track and reconcile prepaid expenses and maintain related amortization schedules Prepare and maintain account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records Support general ledger, bookkeeping, and other accounting functions as assigned Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of accounting transactions Manage accounts payable activities, including invoice entry, GL coding, payment processing, and vendor statement reconciliations Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and payment-related matters Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting processes What We're Looking For 1-3+ years of accounting, staff accountant, or accounts payable experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred Strong Excel skills required Experience with Sage Intacct or similar accounting software is a plus Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills Strong attention to detail and analytical/reconciliation abilities Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively Why Join Clancy Companies?
