Job Description

Responsibilities Managed full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping for a large residential property portfolio. Oversaw accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Recorded and reconciled ACH, credit card, check, and other payment transactions. Administered resident billing, assessments, and late fee processing. Reconciled tenant accounts and resolved payment discrepancies. Performed monthly bank reconciliations and maintained general ledger accuracy. Prepared monthly financial statements and supporting schedules. Maintained vendor records and ensured timely vendor payments. Assisted with budget preparation and annual audit support. Generated financial reports for leadership review. Maintained accurate accounting records and ensured compliance with internal policies. Utilized property management and accounting software for reporting and daily financial operations. Supported leadership with special projects and financial analysis. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. 5+ years of property accounting or bookkeeping experience. Experience supporting residential property management operations. Proficiency with Yardi or similar property management/accounting software. Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, ACH processing, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounting. Proven ability to manage multiple accounting priorities independently. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Professional communication skills with the ability to work effectively across residents, vendors, and leadership.
