Firm seeking a Senior Level Accountant with public accounting experience to join a leading CPA firm in the area. The Accountant will provide assistance and guidance to individuals and businesses in basic tax management, accounting services and also financial services. Responsibilities of Accountant:
Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals and logs Follow our company's established accounting processes Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entry Perform monthly bank settlements Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts Provide detailed reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts Prepare documentation of external auditors
Qualifications of Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in accounting and 150 college credits. 5 years of public accounting experience Experience in individual, partnership and corporate tax Knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software Highly organized with high attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines CPA preferred or eligible to take the CPA exam.
