Job Description

Our client in Valhalla, NY seeks a detail-oriented Project Accountant for a contract assignment. This is an exciting opportunity to support project-driven accounting activities in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee project cost accounting, including budget tracking, expense monitoring, and variance analysisPrepare timely project financial reports, supporting management with accurate forecasting and status updatesMaintain project-related financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulationsPartner with project managers and cross-functional teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and facilitate billing processesAssist in month-end and year-end project closeouts, reconciliations, and audits as needed
