Temporary Are you a skilled accountant with one to two years of experience, looking to further develop your financial expertise in a temporary role? We have an excellent opportunity for you in Yonkers, NY. Our client, a well-established leader in the food industry is seeking a Temporary Accountant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records by recording and verifying financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and reports. Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making and cost control efforts. Monitor and track expenses to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office, particularly Excel. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.
