Job Description
The Dauch College of Business and Economics, Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems, is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting, a tenure-track position, or a Lecturer of Accounting, non-tenure-track position, beginning Fall 2027. Teaching of undergraduate and graduate level courses in accounting include tax, auditing, accounting information systems, and financial accounting. Excellence in teaching is required, as is participation in service activities to the university, community and profession. Assistant/Associate Professor candidates are also expected to conduct scholarly activities in their area of concentration to maintain AACSB Scholarly Academic status.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates for Assistant/Associate Professor would ideally hold an earned doctorate from an AACSB accredited institution in an appropriate field and an active CPA license. Candidates for Lecturer must have a graduate degree in business and an active CPA license. Previous teaching experience, including demonstrated ability to teach effectively in a technology-facilitated environment, as well as in a traditional classroom setting, is a requirement.
