Job Description

Business Unit and Position Summary:
The Staff Accountant is a key business partner to the Site Controller based in Brazil. This role will also have significant exposure to the Management Team for Technifab. The Staff Accountant will assist with the development of Technifab's annual operating plan, monthly forecasts, variance analysis, month end close and the preparation of monthly financial statements. If you are a self-starter with excellent communication skills, we would like you to join our team and contribute to the growth of this global business.
Principle Duties:
Responsible for vendor invoicing registration and Account Payables account Responsible for Customer Invoicing and Account Receivable account. Cash Application and collections. Monitors cash disbursements closely. Maintain Customer Master Data Create credit memos Preparation of general ledger journal entries Perform and review account reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts, ensure accuracy of information and provide variance analysis. Prepare and analyze financial statements and other internal/external financial reports. Prepares Balance Sheet and Income Statement variance analysis to assist the management team in understanding the underlying issues impacting business performance. Prepare and analyze requested information in support of both internal and external audit of Technifab. Prepare and submit Sales and Use Tax requests Maintain Fixed Assets ledger Administer P-Card entries Administer T&E Cards Report daily cash collections and disbursements Review applicable SOX Controls. Maintain a healthy control environment. Play a leading role in preparation of the weekly and monthly forecasting process and entry into HFM. Assist the Site Controller to ensure that the financial statements and site operations are in compliance with GAAP and all applicable financial company policies. Essential Qualifications /
Experience:
Require a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-lookups, etc.) Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal Navigate successfully through a company's financial systems like the General Ledger, Sales, Inventory, and Cash Flow. Must have ability to manage projects, work independently and communicate effectively to all areas and levels of the organization. Experience:
2-3 years' Accounting and/or Manufacturing Accounting experience Quickbooks Hyperion (HFM) for financial reporting Ability to adapt to the needs of the company with various ad-hoc analysis skills.
