Job Description
About This Role This is a hands-on SEC reporting and accounting consulting opportunity supporting the client during a critical year-end reporting period. The consultant will help the finance team stay on track with 10-Q and 10-K reporting requirements, footnote preparation, audit support, and close-related accounting work. This role is ideal for someone who can quickly step into a public-company reporting environment, work independently with existing support schedules and reporting binders, and partner closely with the Assistant Controller and accounting team to deliver accurate, well-supported results. What You Will Work On Support SEC reporting activities, with a primary focus on rolling forward and preparing 10-Q and 10-K footnote disclosures. Leverage existing reporting binders and support schedules to validate how financial statement numbers are supported and documented. Partner closely with the Assistant Controller and internal finance team to ensure reporting deliverables are accurate, complete, and completed on schedule. Assist with year-end close activities, month-end close support, account analysis, reconciliations, and other operational accounting needs as capacity allows. Support external audit requests and help coordinate timely responses while balancing ongoing year-end accounting and reporting deadlines. Work within

to research financial data, support reporting requirements. What You Will Bring Strong SEC reporting experience, including hands-on preparation or review of 10-Q and 10-K footnotes. A solid foundation in general accounting, financial reporting, close processes, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Experience working with public company reporting timelines and the ability to stay organized under tight deadlines. Comfort interacting with external auditors and responding to audit requests in a clear, well-supported manner; EY experience is a plus.
