Job Description

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly motivated Accountant with 3-5 years of accounting experience and strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting foundation combined with experience utilizing Oracle Fusion Financials to support month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvements. This role will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial operations within a cloud-based ERP environment.
Essential Functions:
Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities using Oracle Fusion Financials Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments within Oracle Fusion General Ledger and Project Accounting module Manage account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies across multiple financial modules Generate and analyze financial reports using Oracle Fusion reporting tools, including Smart View and Financial Data Intelligence (FDI) Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve accounting workflows and Oracle Fusion system utilization Participate in Oracle Fusion enhancements, testing, upgrades, and implementation projects Assist in process automation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within
Oracle Fusion Education:
Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:
CPA, CMA, or progress toward certification (preferred)
Experience:
3 to 5 years in related field 3+ years of General Ledger accounting experience 3+ years of accounting, auditing, or similar work Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion modules including: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Cash Management Fixed Assets Subledger Accounting (SLA)
Project Accounting Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience with Oracle Fusion reporting tools, Smart View, and financial data analysis Strong understanding of month-end close and financial reporting processes Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Knowledge of GAAP and internal control requirements Experience working in multi-entity or global business environments Knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP integrations and financial data management processes Strong Oracle Fusion navigation and troubleshooting capabilities Ability to analyze financial data and identify process improvements Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and accountability
Supervisory Responsibility:
Some light supervision for co-op/interns
