Job Description:
Staff Accountant Position Summary We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional looking to build a strong foundation while gaining exposure to a variety of accounting functions and business initiatives. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, account reconciliations, financial reporting support, and special projects, while working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prepare journal entries and assist with the month-end close process while ensuring deadlines are met. Perform cash reconciliations and monthly bank account reconciliations. Assist with recurring accounting activities, account analysis, and general ledger maintenance. Support business initiatives and cross-functional projects by providing financial and accounting support. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Assist with special projects and other accounting duties as assigned. Qualifications 1-5 years of accounting experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and data analysis. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
