Job Description

About the role: As a Senior Tax Accountant for TQL, you will be responsible for assisting with the company's global tax compliance activities, including income, franchise and other applicable taxes across U.S. and international jurisdictions. This role also supports the Tax Manager in assessing and executing tax planning strategies that ensure compliance, mitigate risk and optimize the company's tax position. What's in it for you : Competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits package Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Tuition reimbursement and employee discounts Financial wellness programs and additional perks Increased ownership and autonomy over indirect tax filings Exposure to a wide range of tax types and jurisdictions Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Support for CPA or Master's in Tax pursuit High visibility within the accounting and finance organization What you'll be doing: Oversee preparation and filing of federal, state and local income tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations Manage preparation and filing of income tax returns for international jurisdictions where the company operates Prepare income tax provisions for each legal entity, including associated financial statement disclosures Research tax legislation changes and assess their impact on the company Lead responses to audits and inquiries from tax authorities and external auditors, providing required documentation and explanations Manage all tax-related accounts including tax expenses, taxes payable/receivable and deferred income tax assets and liabilities Identify and implement process improvements for more efficient, accurate and timely accumulation of tax-related information Assist the Tax Director in identifying and implementing tax-saving strategies to minimize overall tax liability What you need: Bachelor's degree in accounting or taxation required CPA or Master of Taxation preferred, or equivalent relevant public accounting experience 5+ years of direct tax experience in public accounting and/or corporate environment Exceptional analytical skills and process improvement mindset Hands-on, proactive approach to work Comfortable working with large volumes of data Where you'll be: 4289 Ivy Pointe Blvd, Cincinnati, OH 45245 Employment visa sponsorship is unavailable for this position.
