Contract-to-Hire Pay Rate:
$25-$30/hour Come join us: Vernovis is seeking an Accountant that will be responsible for maintaining the financial books and records and preparing financial statements in accordance with accounting standards. This resource will also assist in the execution of the monthly financial close process, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and performing timely review of results for accuracy, completeness and compliance with US GAAP.
What You'll Do:
Compile accurate financial reporting for stakeholders Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations Maintain financial and operational controls and adhere to ethical standards Consult with business partners on financial matters and recommend solutions Assist with special projects Participate in development and execution of policies and procedures Complete ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and accounting research
What You'll Have:
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Experience preparing balance sheets, income statements and statements of cash flows preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting 2-4 years of relevant experience CPA or CPA-eligible
