Job Description
- Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliation schedules with the ability to communicate account activity to all levels of management.
- Work cross functionally to understand general ledger and invoice activity to ensure proper accounting treatment.
- Own and execute technology function Labor Reporting to assess accruals and capitalization.
- Interact with the corporate tax department to ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local tax laws.
- Contribute to the development of purchase and obligation reporting to measure current and future obligations.
- Own quarterly Balance Sheet and Income Statement review and fluctuation analysis.
- Lead quarterly analysis around 842 Lease Accounting Standards, Contractual Obligations, and Technology Asset Review.
- Maintain Power BI dashboard for technology projects.
- Review and analyze current finance processes, making appropriate recommendations for improvements and efficiencies. Qualifications
- Seasoned analytical, system and accounting skills (strong understanding of GAAP).
- Ability to prepare all work in a timely manner with high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication & presentation skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task and work independently; able to meet all deadlines and handle multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment.
- 3-5 years Accounting and/or Finance experience.
- SAP-enabled process experience/skills preferred.
- PC skill proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power BI Education
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required.
