Staff Accountant

Job Overview We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role takes ownership of invoicing, accounts receivable, and collections while also supporting general accounting responsibilities for our Mt. Vernon, OH plant. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad, hands-on accounting experience across multiple operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue customer invoices across all four manufacturing plants and the trucking subsidiary Ensure invoices are generated at the earliest point of approval Partner with Quality Control and operations teams to track approvals and deliveries Own collections process end-to-end Communicate with customers to resolve balances Maintain detailed collection records Work closely with Project Managers on billing issues, change orders, and disputes Provide general accounting support for Mt. Vernon plant Assist with accounts payable processing Support month-end close, reporting, and audit requests

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 0-3 years of experience Strong communication and organizational skills Excel proficiency preferred

Compensation :

$55,000 - $75,000, based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package and bonus opportunity.
