90k-110k DOEPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with manufacturing experience to lead full-scope accounting activities for a multi-national manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for accurate financial reporting, month-end close, managing AP/AR and cash flow, supporting inventory and purchasing accounting, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on NetSuite ERP experience and a deep understanding of manufacturing accounting processes.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-scope general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and cash flow monitoring.

Lead the month-end and year-end close processes: prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and produce timely financial statements and management reports.

Serve as the NetSuite ERP super-user for accounting functions: configure and maintain charts of accounts, post transactions, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workflows.

Oversee inventory accounting for manufacturing operations, including cycle counts, cost of goods sold (COGS) calculations, work-in-process and finished goods valuation.

Collaborate with purchasing, production planning and logistics teams to ensure accurate recording of purchases, accruals, intercompany transactions, and freight/inbound costs.

Coordinate multi-national accounting requirements, including intercompany reconciliations, foreign currency transactions, and consolidated reporting support.

Prepare and support sales and use tax filings and other indirect tax compliance; work with tax advisors on local and cross-border tax matters.

Assist with month-to-date and rolling forecast cash flow analysis and working capital improvement initiatives.

Support external audit and statutory reporting requirements by preparing schedules, documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

Identify process improvement opportunities, implement internal controls, and document accounting policies and procedures.

Provide mentorship to junior accounting staff, review their work, and support skills development and cross-training.

QualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.

Minimum 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, including multi-national or multi-entity organizations.

Hands-on NetSuite ERP experience required; proven ability to configure, troubleshoot and optimize accounting processes in an ERP system.

Strong technical accounting skills: general ledger, month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

Proven experience managing AP, AR, cash flow, and treasury activities.

Solid knowledge of inventory accounting, COGS, purchase accounting, and logistics-related cost recognition.

Experience with sales and use tax compliance and working with tax advisors on multi-jurisdictional issues.
