Job Title:

Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at the Parma plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a focus on accounts payable processes. This role is primarily responsible for processing invoices and will also involve accounts receivable tasks, journal entries, and reviewing profit and loss statements. Responsibilities Process invoices and manage accounts payable, comprising approximately 75% of the workload. Handle accounts receivable tasks, including basic journal entries and reviewing profit and loss statements. Collaborate with the General Manager to assist with purchase orders. Perform account reconciliations and utilize financial software for accurate record keeping. Essential Skills Proficiency in accounts payable and invoice processing. Experience with accounting practices and reconciliation processes. Strong understanding of financial statements. Experience working within an ERP system, ideally Oracle. Additional Skills & Qualifications An Associate's degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred. Prior experience in accounts payable is required. Familiarity with Kronos timekeeping is advantageous but not essential. Work Environment This position is 100% onsite at the plant in Parma. Candidates must be comfortable working in an office space within a manufacturing environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Parma, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
