Job Description

About the Role We're seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support financial reporting, account reconciliation, and daily accounting operations. This role ensures accuracy across financial systems, supports month-end close, and contributes to regulatory compliance. As a key member of our Finance team, you'll help maintain strong financial controls and reliable reporting using GAAP principles. What You'll Do Financial Reporting & Reconciliation
  • Reconcile bank statements, cash logs, and system records to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Verify daily system balances and confirm proper posting of cash items
  • Assist with prepaid maintenance and financial analysis tasks
  • Support month-end closing and documentation of account balances Accounting Operations & Compliance Prepare and submit sales tax returns accurately and on time Assist with audits and cost report data collection Maintain statistical spreadsheets and distribute data as requested Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Joint Commission standards Cross-Functional Collaboration / Department Support Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners Maintain confidentiality of patient, financial, and organizational information Support departmental projects and respond to requests professionally Systems & Administration (Accounting Systems & Reporting Tools) Utilize accounting software, Excel, and Microsoft Office to complete daily tasks Maintain accurate documentation and support data integrity across systems Our Culture & Values We are guided by integrity, ownership, compassion, and respect.

Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 3 years of hospital accounting experience Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to detect errors
