The Automotive Biller/Accounting Associate is responsible for accurately reviewing, auditing, and processing all retail, lease, and wholesale vehicle deals. This role supports sales, finance, accounting, and management by ensuring documentation accuracy, compliance with state and lender requirements, and efficient billing processes. Audit all car deals for accuracy and completeness before submission Verify signed documents, buyer's orders, trade information, rebates, taxes, and incentives Help with various month-end tasks and duties Work closely with the F&I department to correct missing or inaccurate paperwork Submit and bill out vehicle deals into the dealership system (CDK, Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.) Process funding packets to lenders and follow up on pending fundings Reconcile schedules related to deals, contracts in transit, and trade receivables Maintain organized digital and physical deal files Support the accounting and office team with other financial tasks as required
Requirements:
Proficiency with DMS platforms such as CDK preferred not required Previous dealership experience and strong understanding of accounting required (deal billing or F&I support preferred) Strong understanding of automotive deal structure and paperwork High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet funding deadlines Strong communication skills for working with sales and finance departments Basic to intermediate Excel skills Regular and predictable attendance is required for this position
