If so, we want YOU to help us drive our financial success! The Opportunity We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to become a vital part of our Accounting Department in Falls Creek. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you won' and just be crunching numbers—you will be a key player in maintaining our financial integrity, supporting month-end closures, and ensuring our operations run like a well-oiled machine. From managing general ledger entries to navigating two different companies and two distinct ERP systems, your impact will be felt across the entire organization. What You'll Do (Your Impact)Drive Accuracy:
Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting, and recording accounting data. Master theLedger:
Assist with general ledger maintenance by preparing and posting journal entries, and support month-end closing and account reconciliations. Be theBackbone:
Help serve as a backup for the Accounting Manager and other key accounting functions, ensuring the efficiency of financial operations.Optimize Operations:
Be involved in costing and inventory functions, manage fixed assets, and support the continuous improvement of accounting systems and procedures.Collaborate & Innovate:
Work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Sales, and Operations to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve workflows.Ensure Compliance:
Help maintain strict compliance with internal control policies and GAAP requirements. What You Bring to theTable Educational Foundation:
An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Proven Experience:
3-5 years of experience in general accounting, including 1-2 years specifically in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.Technical Edge:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (you must be a pro with Pivot Tables and V-Lookups!).Industry Insight:
A background in Manufacturing is preferred. The "Extra"Factor:
Experience with Fixed Assets or Costing/Inventory functions is a major plus!Soft Skills:
