Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a temporary opportunity in Zanesville, Ohio. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations and help ensure accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entriesReconcile bank statements and general ledger accountsAssist with month-end and year-end close processesSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsMaintain accurate financial records and documentationHelp prepare financial reports and schedulesReview transactions for accuracy and complianceAssist with audits and other accounting projects as needed
